FC Bayern Munich secured the win, 95-86, over Brose Bamberg Sunday.
Vladimir Lucic put up seven out of his 20 points down the stretch, after the hosts got their last lead, 78-77. Augustine Rubit produced a game-high 22 points, including 11 points in the third quarter of the easyCredit BBL Regular Season Round 15 contest.
Andreas Obst poured all of his 15 points behind five threes in the first half and Othello Hunter added 14 points. DeShaun Thomas, Corey Walden, Ognjen Jaramaz, and Nihad Djedovic sat out along with Darrun Hilliard and Paul Zipser.
With the win over his former team, Andrea Trinchieri led his current side to 11-3. The team coached by Oren Amiel went down to 6-9, despite Akil Mitchell’s 16 points.
Alba Berlin bested the Hamburg Towers, 88-80. A late push generated a double-digit lead midway through the fourth quarter as the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague participant coached by Israel Gonzalez upped its domestic tally to 10-4.
Oscar da Silva scored a team-high 15 points with 7/7 from the field and pulled down seven rebounds. Maodo Lo and Marcus Eriksson added 12 points each, Ben Lammers had 11 points and Louis Olinde chipped in ten more points. Tamir Blatt and Tim Schneider did not suit up.
Former Evansville standout Jaylon Brown poured a game-high 25 points for the losing team.
Hakro Merlins Crailsheim stormed back from an early 17-point deficit to defeat league-leader, Telekom Baskets Bonn, 81-76. T. J. Shorts dropped 23 points highlighting the move up to 10-5. The visitors fell to 12-3.
Will Cherry banked in 25 points as the Fraport Skyliners beat the JobStairs Giessen 46ers, 90-79, on the road.
Elsewhere, ratiopharm Ulm took down MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, 78-66.
