Parker Jackson-Cartwright banked in 30 points for Telekom Baskets Bonn but it wasn’t even close to enough as Bayern Munich got a comfortable 100-81 home win.
Bayern finished the first half on a 7-0 run to create the 49-42 lead at the break and they rode the momentum in the third quarter when they broke the resistance of Bonn and jumped to a 20-point margin (73-53) fairly quick, effectively deciding the outcome.
Deshaun Thomas led the way for the winning side with 18 points, five assists while Vladimir Lucic and Andreas Obst scored 14 each. Zan Sisko logged 12 points and seven assists.
On the opposing side, Jackson-Cartwright also added five assists but, despite the 30-point display, also had some trouble from deep, shooting 1-8. Justin Gorham helped with 12 points.
