A couple of days after losing to CSKA Moscow at Russia’s capital, Alba Berlin held on to beat Telekom Baskets Bonn, 89-77, and make its way up to 12-5 in the easyCredit BBL Regular Season.
Luke Sikma logged a 12-point, 10-assist double-double to go along with eight rebounds. Christ Koumadje posted a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double in the German league’s Round 20 matchup held Sunday. Yovel Zoosman added a season-high 18 points. Ben Lammers and Marcus Eriksson were sidelined.
The hosts dropped to 14-6 despite Arizona product Parker Jackson-Cartwright dropping a game-high 20 points plus ten assists.
Earlier, FC Bayern Munich dominated overtime to defeat Basketball Lowen Braunschweig, 91-82. Deshaun Thomas paved the way with 25 points, including five points in the 14-5 sprint over the five extra minutes.
