Alba Berlin has been on a roll for the past month and a half, and the team has continued strong with a dominant 84-58 road win over Giessen in the German League.
Alba won ten straight games across all competitions – Euroleague, German Cup, German league – and has won 12 of the last 13.
When it comes solely to the domestic league, they are on a five-game winning streak and have improved to a 15-5 record, chasing the top teams Bayern (18-6) and Bonn (18-7). Considering the fact that they’ve played only 20 games so far (least of all clubs in the league), they are on pace to grab the top spot.
Tim Schneider led the way with 18 points while Oscar da Sliva had 15 points, seven boards, two steals. Christ Koumadje scored ten.
For the losing side, Nuni Omot banked in 22 points along with nine rebounds, followed by Florian Koch with ten points, four boards, three assists.
