FC Bayern Munich didn’t give up the fight to grab a 90-60 win in Game 3 of the German League finals and force Game 4 against ALBA Berlin on the road.
Bayern stormed into the first half scoring 52 points and managed to build a 19-point lead by halftime, which was expanded up to 26 points in the second half.
Nick Weiler-Babb paced the winners with 19 points and Deshaun Thomas added up 19 points of his own, along with four rebounds. Othello Hunter and Nihad Djedovic were added to the list of top scorers with 13 and 10 points respectively.
Oscar da Silva added 15 points and five rebounds, while Maodo Lo had 10 points for ALBA, which scored its lowest points in this year’s finals. Nonetheless, the Berlin side remains up with a 2-1 lead and needs one victory to claim the championship. Game 4 takes place in Bayern Sunday, June 19, at 15:00 local time.
