It was a lot tougher than expected but ALBA managed to keep the winning streak alive in the domestic competition. The Berlin team stays on top after winning against Oldenburg 89-81.
DeWayne Russell was the man of the match. The experienced guard was on fire the entire night, he led all scorers with 30 points, but in the end, it was not enough for Oldenburg to get a win.
ALBA got on to a hot start, scoring 32 points and getting a double-digit lead, but Oldenburg cut it down in the fourth quarter, not enough for the win.
Jaleen Smith scored 19 points, and Louis Olinde followed with 12 points for ALBA. Alba stays in first place with 17 wins and just one loss, while Oldenburg inked the seventh loss of the season.
