Othello Hunter registered his highest-scoring performance with the Bayern Munich jersey to lead his team to the win in the German League derby.
Hunter dropped 24 points on 10-13 shots as Bayern beat ALBA Berlin 76 – 70 on the road and improved to 16-6 in the BBL. The veteran big man also shot 3-6 3-pointers to tie his second-highest scoring output ever in his career in Europe. His personal best is 28 (from his 2010-2011 stint with Sassari).
DJ Seeley contributed 17 points to Bayern’s victory. He also hit two back-to-back triples in the last minute for the 68 – 71 and the 71 – 74 with 27 seconds remaining.

Maodo Lo missed a layup for ALBA. On the other end, Isaac Bonga secured Bayern’s win with 2-2 free throws. Jaleen Smith dropped 14 points while Lo and Johannes Thiemann scored 12 points apiece for the hosts, now 18-2 and in the second place in the standings below Telekom Baskets Bonn (19-2).
