Bayern Munich defeated Gottingen 86 – 74 in a postponed game for Round 12 of the German League regular season. Thanks to this win, the recently crowned German Cup champions moved to 17-3 and atop of the standings.
Devin Booker had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead a quite balanced offensive performance by Bayern. Andreas Obst scored 11, Serge Ibaka added 10 points plus five assists and Elias Harris dropped 10 points.
Umoja Gibson scored 15 points for Gottingen, now 13th at 6 – 14. Osaro Rich had 13 points, Karlis Silins notched 11 points plus six assists and Grant Antisevich finished with 11 points.
