ALBA Berlin fell at home to FIBA Europe Cup winners Chemnitz

The German BBL Semifinals started with an unexpected result.

ALBA Berlin hosted Niners Chemnitz at Mercedes-Benz Arena and lost Game 1 at home to the FIBA Europe Cup winners, 82-95.

Kevin Yebo led the winning team with 23 points and six rebounds, while Kaza Kajami-Keane followed with 16 points and six assists. Jeffery Garrett and Jonas Richter added 13 points each, and Ousman Krubally also finished in double digits with 10 points.

Two players stood out for the hosts: Sterling Brown with 24 points and Johannes Thiemann with 23. Martin Hermannsson added 10 points.
