Five Bayern Munich players scored in double figures as the team defeated Wurzburg Baskets 91 – 76 in Game 1 of the German BBL semifinals.
Serge Ibaka led Bayern’s scorers with 18 points. Carsen Edwards had 15 points and five assists, Niels Giffey dropped 12 points, Leandro Bolmaro scored 11 and Vladimir Lucic posted 10 points plus five rebounds. Laso’s team finished with 25 points in a very solid offensive performance overall.
Maximilian Ugrai (18 points) Darius Perry (17 points) stood out from Wurzburg.
