Bayern Munich proved to be too much for Wurzburg Baskets in Game 2 of the German League semifinals, winning 99 – 75 to move to 2-0 in the best-of-five series.
Isaac Bonga provided 14 points plus 9 rebounds for Bayern while Carsen Edwards and Vladimir Lucic scored 14 apiece as well. Bayern coach Pablo Laso saw his players finishing with 25 assists for just five turnovers and shooting 11 – 23 from the 3-point line.
Wurzburg, that was close 48 – 44, was unable to respond to such a performance and fell behind after the break. Zachary Seljaas posted 17 points plus six rebounds while Darion Perry completed the game with 14 points plus eight assists.
