Bayern Munich took the first shot in the German Basketball Bundesliga Finals.
Pablo Laso’s side defeated ALBA Berlin 79-67 in Game 1 to move one step closer to returning to the German throne.
Captain Vladimir Lucic led the winning side with 17 points, five assists, and four rebounds, while Carsen Edwards and Andreas Obst followed with 15 points each. Devin Booker and Serge Ibaka also finished in double digits, with 10 points apiece.
Sterling Brown stood out for ALBA with 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Matt Thomas added 14 points and Tim Schneider 10.
