The fight for the German throne is ON!
Bayern Munich opened the BBL Finals with a convincing home win, but ALBA Berlin responded strongly and emerged victorious in Game 2 at BMW Park, tying the series with a final score of 70-79.
Matt Thomas led Israel Gonzalez’s team with 21 points, while Sterling Brown also had a great game with 17 points, nine assists, and five rebounds.
Carsen Edwards scored 17 points, Leandro Bolmaro added 14, and Nick Weiler-Babb 11 for Bayern Munich.
The series will now move to Berlin, where ALBA can claim the title in the two home-court matches.
