After debuting as the head coach of ALBA Berlin with a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague win over Baskonia, Pedro Calles guided his side to an away win, 108-73, against Basketball Lowen Braunschweig on Sunday.

David McCormack, Elias Rapieque, and Matteo Spagnolo were left out of the lineup for various reasons. All 12 available players put in at least four points, including Martin Hermannsson and Gabriele Procida, sharing a game-high 17 points. More double-digit scoring contributions in Malte Delow packing 12 points, Robert Baker II with 11 points, and Yanni Wetzell with ten points.

The Albatrosse balanced the W-L tally in 2024-25 easyCredit BBL Regular Season at 11-11. With ten fixtures left in the double-legged round-robin schedule of Germany’s top-flight division, the focus is on salvaging a ticket to the Playoffs. On the losing end, Braunschweig fell to 14-9 and is now tied with Rasta Vechta in third place.

In the Round 24 opener on Friday, ratiopharm Ulm secured a road win, 84-73, against Rasta Vechta to jump to 16-6 and on top of the table, over the 15-6 tally of FC Bayern Munich.
