Alba Berlin (21-10) and Ulm (20-11) became the latest duo to secure a spot in BEKO BBL playoffs after the 31st round. Brose Baskets (28-3), Bayern Munich (25-6), Frankfurt (25-8), Oldenburg (24-7) and Ludwigsburg (22-9) already had the top six spots and their tickets.
The road win of Alba (Milosavljevic, photo) and Ulm gave them mathematically their place in the post-season, while Wurzburg (17-14) and Giessen (15-16) are dueling for the last playoffs spot.
However, Kyle Fogg of of Bermerhaven and Vladimir Mihailovic of Tubingen with 32 points shared the best offensive performance of the day.
