The regular season ended in BEKO BBL with Oldenburg getting in the last moment the second place of the final standings by beating Bayern Munich which dropped to the fourth spot.
That means that Bayern will probably cross roads with Brose Baskets in the semifinals, provided that both teams will prevail in the first round, having the home court advantage over their opponents. Meanwhile, Wurzburg despite losing to Gottingen made it to the post season.
