The German playoffs began with a “bang”, as Ratiopharm Ulm stunned Oldenburg on the road, stealing its opponents home-court advantage.
Coach Leibenath’s players shot the ball with accuracy (60% 2-pointers, 8/16 3-pointers) and were particularly strong in the second and third quarter where they outscored Oldenburg 31 – 44.
In the other two games, Fraport Skyliners and Bayern Munich confirmed their status as favorites in the series vs Alba Berlin and Ludwigsburg respectively, taking easy victories.
