Even though it was back in the score 22-29 in the first quarter, Ludwigsburg didn’t only manage to win the game but defeated Bayern Munich rather easily in the end, as the final 93 – 74 shows, tying the quarterfinal series 1-1.
With five players scoring in double-digits Ludwigsburg was offensively superior and far more effective than Bayern which didn’t shoot the ball very well after the first ten minutes of the game, finishing with 36% from the field.
Jon Brockman led the winners with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals, while Alex Renfroe 15 points and 4 assists for Bayern.
