Ratiopharm Ulm completed what they began after “stealing” the home-court advantage in the first game of the quarterfinals series vs EWE Oldenburg! With a 80 – 79 victory, the players of coach Thorsten Leibenath made the 3-1 and advanced to the semifinals of the German Beko BBL.
Although the hosts suffered a 13-point deficit, 52 – 65 near the end of the third quarter, they reacted, balancing the game in the mid of the fourth period and then building a small lead that led them to the grand win and qualification to the next stage.
