The season is not over yet in Greece, but Dimitris Priftis, the coach of Aris BC, has a very interesting option already in his hands.
Alba Berlin is offering him a two year deal in order to help the team regain its past glory. Born in 1968, Priftis, a long time Greek national team assistant and also the key to Panathinaikos last championship title, as an associate coach to Fragkiskos Alvertis, is well respected for his work which includes Aris finishing third this season in the Greek league’s regular season, behind Panathinaikos and Olympiacos. Sportando also reported the interest of Alba Berlin for the Greek coach.
