Brose Bamberg made the 2-1 in the playoffs series against Bonn, using its homecourt to reach a 76-63 win.
After Andrea Trinchieri’s team broad victory in Game 2, Bonn tried to stay on top of the series, and challenged the hosts, who gained an 18-17 lead after the first 10 minutes. The Bamberg side wanted to set things straight from early on, with a 36-29 advantage at halftime.
The visitors threatened in the second half, though a late outbreak by Bamberg was enough for them to seal the victory.
Nikos Zisis paced the winners with 15 points, with Lucca Staiger and Darius Miller scoring 13 each.
In the other playoff game of the day, Medi Bayreth prevailed 98-94 against EWE Baskets, turning the tide to 1-2 and hoping for a change in the lead of the series.
