Andrea Trinchieri’s team beat EWE Baskets at home 76-58 and made the perfect ending to the season in Germany.
Maodo Lo led the winners with 15 points, Fabien Causeur and Janis Strelnieks shared 11 points each and Darius Miller finished with 10.
While the competition was tough for 3 quarters (39-34 at halftime, then 57-49 after 30′), it was during the final period when the hosts really outdid themselves in defense and could seal the win.
This was the 9th championship title in total for Brose Bamberg, the third is a row and Causer was named the MVP of the finals. After this win, Brose Bamberg confirmed its presence in the 2017-18 EuroLeague.
