With just a few seconds left in the game, Geoffrey Goselle took the offensive rebound from his own blocked shot, laid it in and Bremerhaven beat Alba Berlin 66 – 64 on the road.
Groselle finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds while Johny Berhameneskel scored 14 and David Brembly 13 for the winning squad that is now 1-1 in the league.
Alba Berlin has the same record since Dennis Clifford (18 points) didn’t receive much help on offense from his teammates, save perhaps Peyton Siva (8 points, 7 assists).
