Bayern got the win against Alba in Berlin (80 – 70) and jumped to a 7-1 record to reach the top of the German BBL League standings.
The game was close until the third quarter when Bayern started dominating the floor. A 21 – 8 run for the visitors was too much to overcome in the last period, despite Peyton Siva’s 21 points.
Nihad Djedovic led the winners in scoring with 14 points, followed by Reggie Redding who added 12 and also 4 steals.
While Bayern was cruising Alba, medi Bayreuth escaped with the victory after an overtime in Bremerhaven. Over the weekend, Bamberg destroyed Braunschweig on the road thanks to Dorell Wright and Ricky Hickman.
