On Day 9 of the BBL German League, Brose Bamberg got an important 75-66 win over Fraport Skyliners at home and improved its record to 6-3 while Frankfurt’s team slipped to 6-3.
The game was competitive in the first half, with both teams challenging and competing with one another, but in the third quarter Brose went on a 12-2 run to increase its lead to double-digits (45-34). From this point and on, Bamberg had control and the upper hand in the game and finished it off successfully.
Over the weekend, Bayern and Bonn got wins at home against Tubingen and Wurzburg respectively, while Jena and Gottingen defeated Gotha and Bremerhaven in two tough, close and exciting games to watch. Moreover, Bayreuth defeated Alba Berlin in a needed victory 83-76.
