In the Bavarian derby, the hosts got the 77-68 win after getting a 43-33 halftime lead and keeping it until the end. Jared Cunninghan with 17 points, Devin Booker with 11 and Milan Macvan with 10 led the charge for the team of coach Alexander Djordjevic.
For the losing side, Dorrell Wright with 14 points and 10 rebounds did his best but it was not enough as Bamberg dropped to a 6-4 record and a tie for the 6th spot of the standings.
On the contrary, Alba Berlin having played one extra game has an 8-3 record after Saturday’s win over Oldenburg and the championship race already seems more than interesting in Germany.
