Brose Bamberg had an easy evening against Jena at home, winning 80-71.
After a close first quarter (20-18) the hosts stepped up their game, building a double-digit lead 44-34 before halftime. After the break, things remained the same as Bamberg had no problems to stay up and close the match. Andrea Trinchieri’s team now stands on an 8-4 record and Jena sink to a 4-8.
Dorrel Wright was once again the best scorer of Bamberg with 16 points. Skyler Bowlin of Jena also had 16 points but didn’t cut it for the visitors.
The latest signing of Bamberg, Dejan Musli, made his debut tonight. The Serbian scored 12 points, being perfect from the field (3/3).
Earlier today Bayern Munich had no problem beating MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg at home 91-71. The second quarter made the difference as the hosts won that period 27-15.
Devin Booker contributed everywhere with 17 points, 5 boards and 3 assists for Bayern.
