In a postponed game for Week 4 of the German League, defending champions Brose Bamberg defeated Bremerhaven 79 – 74 and improved its record to 9 – 4.
The reigning champs entered the final period down 60 – 63 but played some excellent defense to tied the score and then pull away down the stretch thanks to a decisive 6 – 0 run for the 79 – 73.
Bamberg newcomer Dejan Musli showed that he’s clicking instantly with the rest of his squad by being the top contributor with 14 points and 10 rebounds in his second match with the Bavarians.
August Rubit scored 12 points while Daniel Hackett had 12 points and six assists, including this beauty:
Jordan Hulls and Tre Bussey scored 14 apiece for Bremerhaven that dropped to a 2 – 10 record.
