MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg destroyed medi Bayreuth after a huge game at home 78 – 47.
Bayreuth slowed down in the game after trailing 23 – 11 at the end of the first quarter. The visitors struggled shooting during the entire first half where they only scored 22 points. Ludwigsburg had another great quarter both offensively and defensively and the game was decided with ten minutes left (56 -33).
Dwayne Evans had 16 points for the winners. Justin Sears contributed with 15 points and also grabbed 8 boards. Robin Amaize was Bayreuth’s leading scorer with 13 points.
Earlier in the day, Bonn got an easy road victory 91 – 65 over Gottingen while Ulm defeated Wurzburg in a close game 72 – 69.
