Science City Jena had it easy against Eisbaren Bremerhaven and got the home win 90 – 68. The hosts dominated the entire game, winning all three first quarters. Jena jumped to a 6-9 record while Bremerhaven remains in relegation spots with 2-12.
Skyler Bowlin paced the home team with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists. Julius Jenkins contributed to the victory with a game-high 19 points.
Geoffrey Groselle and Fabian Bleck had 11 points each for the guests.
Also, we had a game from Gameweek 1. Bonn was close to a comeback victory but Ludwigsburg stayed strong at home (87 – 78). Dwayne Evans led the winners with 23 points and 13 rebounds while Kerron Johnson added 16 points.
Over the week, Brose Bamberg smashed Mitteldeutscher at home 103 – 66 with Dejan Musli leading the German champions. Medi Bayreuth also crushed its rival with a big win on the road over Braunschweig.
