Nihad Djedovic couldn’t be denied tonight, leading Bayern Munich to another victory in the German BundesLeague against Gottingen at home 91-77.
Djedovic finished the game with 19 points tearing the guests’ defense apart. Gottingen couldn’t keep with Djedovic as he was sent to the foul line nine times hitting all 9 free-throws. Danilo Barthel added 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The visiting squad was off to the good starting winning the first period 20-17. However, they ran out fuel quickly as they were completely outgunned in the second quarter.
The hosts shifted to the top gear during that stretch winning the period 31-18 and building a double-digit lead 48-38 at the break. Bayern held onto that lead and closed the game with no problems.
With this win, Bayern moved up to a 20-1 record. They haven’t lost a game since October.
Michael Stockton spat fire tonight for Gottingen, nailing no less than 27 points. However, he turned the ball 9 times while his team lost another game. Gottingen are now standing on a 4-17 record in the BundesLeague.
