EWE Baskets Oldenburg had no sympathy for a hurting Bayern Munich and recorded a convincing 100-77 win on Day 27 of German BundesLeague.

The guests were shorthanded with ten players on the roster due to a number of injuries (most recently Vladimir Lucic and Nihad Djedovic). This was also their first game without coach Aleksandar Djordjevic whose place was temporarily taken over by the assistant coach Emir Mutapcic.

The winning side was led by Maxime de Zeeuw who scored 24 in addition to Frantz Massenat’s 20 points. From Bayern, Devin Booker scored 19 points.

Oldenburg improved to an 18-9 record after this win, while on the other side this is Bayern’s second loss in a row but are still at the top with a 23-3 record. They hope to set things right with a new coach, and reportedly the next to take over is Dejan Radonjic who has already traveled to Munich.
