Brose Bamberg recorded a 76-83 comeback victory against Eisbaren Bremerhaven on Day 28 of German BundesLeague. The game was decided in the last minute. With 40 seconds remaining on the clock, the score was a tie at 76. The responsibility fell on Dorell Wright who didn’t tremble and scored seven last points of the game. He made a 3-point shot to push his team ahead and was later calm at the free throw line securing the win for Bamberg.
Wright scored 30 points and added six rebounds while Nicolaos Zisis helped with 15. On the other side, Geoffrey Groselle scored 17 points.
Bremerhaven started the game better as they created a double-digit lead already after six minutes (15-5). They were managing to keep that result distance until the late third quarter when Bamberg finally made a significant comeback effort. With two minutes left in the third period, the guests made a 7-0 run to decrease the margin to one point and bring the game to an interesting finish.
