In a postponed game for Round 18 of the German BBL Brose Bamberg beat medi Bayreuth at home 88-73. It was a comeback win for the hosts as they were trailing in the first half.

Nikos Zisis added 16 points plus 4 assists, Dorell Wright 15 points while Daniel Hackett came really close to a triple-double as he posted 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Medi Bayreuth players caught the fire early on as they were 6 from 13 behind the arc in the first half. That helped them to build 8 points lead after the first half (43-35).

However, in the second half, it was a one-sided affair as Bamberg won that period 53-30 grabbing another win.

Steve Wachalski had 17 points for Bayreuth, but it wasn’t enough.

This was a third straight win for Bamberg that is now tied with Bayreuth as both teams stand on a 17-11 record.
