After the German Cup obligations, the clubs returned to the League schedule for Gameday 12. The clash between medi Bayreuth and EWE Baskets Oldenburg was the last on the list as the latter recorded a 90-70 road win.
Nathan Boothe led the winning side by nailing all five of his shots from deep and scoring 19 points while Philipp Schwethelm added 19 in addition to Will Cummings’ 18 points. For Bayreuth, Adonis Thomas scored 15 in addition to Hassan Martin and Gregor Hrovat’s 11 points each.
On Wednesday (26/12), Bayern routed Wurzburg and will finish the year undefeated with a 12-0 record. Alba, Oldenburg and Bamberg follow with 9-2 while Bayreuth holds a 7-4 record and Crailsheim is alone at the bottom with 1-11.
