Brose Bamberg didn’t give up until the very end but Bayern Munich managed to ward them off for an 80-75 road win on Day 13 of German League.
Nihad Djedovic led the winning charge with 15 points in addition to Petteri Koponen’s 14 and Leon Radosevic’s 13 points. For Bamberg, Augustine Rubit nailed 24 points and 12 rebounds while Tyrese Rice followed with 21 points.
Bayern created a 26-11 lead after ten minutes but Bamberg decreased the deficit significantly before halftime (39-37). However, they couldn’t take over the lead despite being very close multiple times and Bayern held on until the end for the win.
Bayern improved to a perfect 13-0 record in front of Alba and Oldenburg (10-2) while Bamberg stands at 9-3. Crailsheim stayed alone at the bottom with just one win (1-12).
