EWE Oldenburg swept Telekom Baskets Bonn 3-0 in the German League semifinals by taking a 97 – 84 win at home.
German League MVP Will Cummings led Oldenburg with 27 points while Nathan Boothe added 25 points and six assists. Charles Jackson had 28 points for the losing side.
Oldenburg will face either Alba Berlin or Ratiopharm Ulm in the semifinals. Alba has a 2-0 lead in the series and they host Game 3 Sunday (26/3).
Rasta Vechta defeated Brose Bamberg 87 – 78 and is one win away from making the semifinals for the first time in the history of the club.
Austin Hollins had 21 points, Josh Young 13 and Thomas Bray 13 points plus 13 rebounds to pace Rasta Vechta. For Bamberg, Elias Harris posted 16 points and Tyrese Rice scored 15 points and dished out nine assists.
