Alba Berlin made a big comeback in the fourth quarter but Bayern Munich held on and secured an 82-77 road win and a 2-0 lead in the German League Finals.
Devin Booker led the victors with 16 points while Derrick Williams added 12 and Petteri Koponen 11 points.
For Alba, Franz Wagner and Rokas Giedraitis scored 14 points each followed by Landry Nnoko’s ten points and 11 boards.
Alba had a better start of the game (20-10) but was ahead by just one point at halftime (46-45). Bayern kept the momentum in the second half and led by a 12-point margin early in the fourth quarter (73-61). Although Alba made a big comeback with an 11-0 run, the guests didn’t give up the lead, managed to hold on and secure the win.
