FC Bayern Munich prevailed over ALBA Berlin with an 84-80 victory in the big derby for Round 7 of the German easycredit BBL.
Alex King led Bayern’s efforts with 19 points, three assists, and two rebounds, while Greg Monroe and Vladimir Lucic shared 13 points apiece.
Rokas Giedraitis and Johannes Thiemann were the leading scorers for ALBA with 17 and 16 points each.
Bayern moves on with a perfect 6-0 record (one game less due to scheduling) and ALBA suffered its first defeat of the season to fall to a 5-1 record.
