Bayern Munich played a Day 13 German League game against ratiopharm Ulm and logged a convincing 83-69 home win. Bayern stayed undefeated with nine wins compared to Ulm’s 3-6 record.
Paul Zipser scored 16 points for the winning side followed by Petteri Koponen’s 15 and Danilo Barthel’s 11 points.
For Ulm, Zoran Dragic banked 19 points while Derek Willis helped with 11.
Earlier, ALBA Berlin grabbed a narrow 90-87 road win against Telekom Baskets Bonn in a Day 10 game of the German League. ALBA improved to 7-2 while Bonn stayed at one win (1-7).
Marcus Erikkson led the way with 24 points while Niels Giffey added 15 and Martin Hermannsson 11 points. The latter also dished eight assists.
For Bonn, Branden Frazier scored 25 in addition to Martin Breunig’s 12 and Bojan Subotic’s ten points.
