For Round 17 of EuroLeague, we strongly suggest live picks rather than fixed choices, so brace yourselves with patience!
Olympiacos – Fenerbahce
Olympiacos hosts Fenerbahce in a game that’s a must-win towards taking a step to the Top 8 teams of the competition. Both teams rank low in the standings and want to end the first round of action on a good note. It’s hard to predict a winner for this game since neither of the teams is convincing enough. With a limit of 157.5 points, it’s already obvious that this game could end with under.
CSKA Moscow – Panathinaikos
Panathinaikos heads to Moscow for a much-needed victory. The game will not be easy, but CSKA is not a huge threat this season. Of course, the factor of quality plays a key role here with the Army Team having the advantage in that, though unstable at parts.
1,32 for a homecourt win might not be worth the investment, so live betting could be a greater value for money.
ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne – Real Madrid 2 (-4.5) / 1.71
Real will look to bounce back from this weekend’s defeat in the Spanish El Clasico, though ASVEL is always a threat at home. Still, Pablo Laso’s squad counts 11 straight victories in EuroLeague and remains on top of the standings along with Barcelona and Efes. We should expect a convincing performance by the Spanish squad against a less qualitative opponent and a fairly easy victory.
Efes and Milano can achieve victories in Round 17. They face less qualitative teams (Khimki and Zenit respectively) and with solid performances, both can end the first week of the year on a good note. Once again, live betting is the way to go for these two games.
Finally, as far as Crvena Zvezda goes, their homecourt presence is highly respected. A 2,50 for Bayern’s victory might be tempting, though the Germans are not that reliable away from home.
