Real Madrid needed one more center besides the duo of Mirza Begic and Marcus Slaughter and finally got its man. After a hunt that lasted from September the Spanish powerhouse made a deal with Zaragoza on Monday night and on Tuesday announced the signing of Rafael Hettsheimeir.
The Brazilian center had a good season last year in Liga Endesa as a player of Zaragoza (13,3 ppg, 6,4 rpg) and Real hopes that he will add at least depth in its front line. It will be interesting to see what role Hettsheimer will have in the team’s rotation, since he is a really talented center who was also rumored to be last summer on San Antonio Spurs radar.
