Partizan is the only team left without a win in Euroleague and after the loss in Adriatic league by bitter cross town rival Crvena Zvezda, they decided that it was time for a change. American point guard Torey Thomas will be released and as it was officially announced 24 years old Bosnian guard Nemanja Gordic is the new signing of the team.
Thomas had just 2 ppg and 2,3 asp in four Euroleague games and couldn’t keep up with the tradition of Partizan’s good choice from the US market at recent past with players like Bo McCalebb and Curtis Jerrells.
It will be interesting to see if this move will help the team in the quest for its first Euroleague win this Thursday against Besiktas, which has Jerrells in its roster.
