Dimitris Diamantidis didn’t want to miss the Top16 opening game of Panathinaikos at OAKA against Zalgiris Kaunas and he will pay a hefty price for his desire. The leader of the Greens was injured in his right groin during the last Greek league game against KAOD and in just four minutes of action on Friday he aggravated his injury.
The latest medical examination revealed a A’ degree contusion and he will have to miss at least the next ten days. He will not be used in the Euroleague road game against Anadolu Efes, in the Greek league game against Apolon Patras and nobody knows yet if he will be available against Unicaja in the 10th of January.
