Bobby Brown makes every team better, even in fantasy, but we have also other choice to make. Bojan Bogdanovic, Nikola Mirotic and Paul Davis can boost your score as with the new Top16 format Euroleague and its fantasy league has a long way to go

Every fantasy player will remember last week. Bobby Brown had the best ranking during the last six years and these 55 points was a New Year’s gift for a lot of players. Although it’s too late and he was already too expensive, the American guard had a limit up giving 11,4 credits along with his 55 points. Eurohoopsnet team was among those teams who had Brown so the 181,7 points and the 1106th place was an easy task.

The time for thinking who will leave the team was too much this week. Jaycee Caroll hasn’t fulfilled our expectations yet and it’s obvious that we can bet to other Madridistas. The second one on the door is Lorbek because he will face Olympiacos whose big guys are faster than him and probably he will have some problems to play against them. At the end, the dilemma was between Llull and Lasme and the decision was against the center of Panathinaikos. Sofo is back and he will get less minutes. So, it’s safer to trade him before the game against Unicaja and its strong front line. The team costs in total 609,6 credits and after the changes there are 157,4 credits available.

Our bet this week is Paul Davis, who is Khimki’s hidden secret. He has been excellent during the last month, but there is another reason for picking him. Whoever big guy faces Siena (with the exception of Fenerbahce‘s front line last week) makes huge numbers. If you recall in your memory the last games of the Italian champions, you will remember James (16) and Eliyahu (13) of Maccabi, Mahalbasic (24) of Prokom, Williams (22) and JBAM (19) of Chalon, Zoric (33) of Unicaja, James (39) and Eliyahu (21) again of Maccabi and Thompson (24) of Alba. Aren’t all these enough for picking Davis?

The most popular player this week until now is Bojan Bogdanovic and it’s a safe choice. The Croatian forward of Fenerbahce is in great shape. He was excellent against Siena but nobody remembers it due to Brown’s performance. Also, in the Turkish derby he was very good. The third player who will “sign” to Eurohoopsnet team is Nikola Mirotic. The young Montenegrin is getting better and better and is always a safe choice.

Point Guards
Bobby Brown 87,32 credits (+11,42)
He has by far the best average ranking score having 20.5 per game. He’s a solid choice because he shoots and passes excellent and Siena depends 100% on him

Sergio Lull 51,7 credits (-3,28)
His 2/12 FGs at Bamberg made us thinking about him. But his consistency through the whole season was at the end of the day more important

Shooting Guards/Small Forwards
Vassilis Spanoulis 76,7 credits (+1)
Barcelona’s opponents have the lowest rankings by far (56 per game) due to the very good defense of “blaugrana”. So, it will be hard for “V-Span”. But who else apart from him could be confident that he will survive in Palau Blaugrana? We trust him

Bostjan Nachbar 64,9 credits (+1,4)
He is solid enough to keep himself in high standards even against CSKA’s defense. He did it against Real and is ready to make it again

Rudy Fernandez 62,65 credits (-4,55)
His poor numbers against Bamberg was only a parenthesis to his very good games lately. He has the chance to bounce back at home over Zalgiris

Bojan Bogdanovic 43,6 credits
He was great against Barcelona, Siena and Efes. It’s easy for him to keep this rhythm at NOKIA Arena against Maccabi in a crucial game for Fenerbahce

Power Forwards/Centers
Viktor Khryapa 70,7 credits (+1,2)
He does too many things in the court so he… hides also his bad shooting night. He had ranking 19 last week although his 5/12 FGs. Of course, he will stay

Nikola Mirotic 60,2 credits
He’s too fast for Zalgiris’ big guys and is expected to score a lot continuing his very good games lately

Paul Davis 49,4 credits
Against Siena’s front line he has the chance to shine again. He’s brilliant during the last month, so why not in Toscane?

Sasha Kaun 38,8 credits (+5)
He’s still underrated and can make big numbers although Krstic and Khryapa play also a lot. Brose Baskets’ big guys will not make troubles to him
