Friday was a day full from basketball in Europe and there were also off the court news. EA7 Olimpia Milano announced the release of Richard Hendrix (photo) who is expected to sign with Lokomotiv Kuban. However, until further notice Hendrix still has a contract with the Italian team for next season and it will be interesting to see how this case will play out in the summer.
Also, the Minessota Timberwolves finally admitted the signing of French forward Mickael Gelabale with a ten days contract. The door of Valencia is still open for Gelabale in case he get released after ten days and in the meantime former Olympiacos player Marko Keselj will get a chance to return to the rotation of Valencia.
