David Hawkins is in danger of being banned from pro basketball for two years, Henry Domercant is still hurt and Eurocup contender Galatasaray is trying to get some help in its roster. It’s not an easy task, but the Turkish team tried to get the leader of defending French champion Chalon, Blake Schilb.

However, as it was reported from French media the player himself didn’t want to leave his team, despite the chance to triple his salary in Turkey with Chalon getting a 300.000 euros buy out. “In my head I was never confused, because I want to defend the championship title of Chalon”, said Schilb. Despite searching for a new player, Galatasaray let veteran Slovenian guard Jaka Lakovic go to Italian club scandone Avellino.

In Russia, another Eurocup team, Spartak Saint Petersburg, found the replacement of Patrik Beverley, who signed with the Houston Rockets, in the face of former NBA player Darius Johnson-Odom. The rookie guard was cut by the Lakers after making just four appearances and spending most of the season in the D-League. He signed a contract with an option for next season with Spartak.

Also, there are bad news for Siena, as the team will miss for the next three weeks Tomas Ress in three crucial Euroleague Top16 games. As the club announced, the player was injured in the left leg during the Italian league game against Reggio Emilia
