It’s time for small changes as the Top16 is near its pick and you can’t go wrong at this point of the game with having the most expensive players that you can get. Krstic of CSKA, Lampe of Caja Laboral and Smith of Maccabi Tel Aviv are our choices

During the first games of the fantasy season you can earn a lot from the low budget players. But since Top 16 started and most of the players have already played more than 15 games, everyone costs as much as he deserves and you should pay attention more to the expensive players.

Eurohoopsnet team lost 4 credits and earned only 9,9 points last week only by the two additions (Mickeal and Bjelica) who both had poor performances. Both of them are cut this week and Mirotic followed them because in Kaunas, Zalgiris big guys are stronger than the Montenegrin who isn’t solid enough. In total we have more than 630 credits and 162,7 available by selling there three players.

In 2-3 positions there aren’t reliable picks except Spanoulis, Bogdanovic and Rudy, so it’s safer to spend money to the big guys. Krstic (photo) is a good choice, but we want to buy two really good players, so will pick Davis and Lampe, who is impressive lately. Finally, the dilemma is between two Maccabi’s players, Smith and Logan and we pick the first one because he’s steadier and does more things in the court.

Enjoy fantasy!

Point Guards

Milos Teodosic 62,6 credits (-0,6)
He’s in great shape, scores and passes a lot. The Serbian guard should have one more good game against Bamberg because of the bad back court defence of the Germans.

Dimitris Diamantidis 58,6 credits (+1)
He has double digit ranking during the last games without scoring so much. So, it’s a safe choice in any case and will be the leader of Panathinaikos, especially without Banks.

Shooting Guards/Small Forwards

Vassilis Spanoulis 70,8 credits (-0,3)
During the last two games he isn’t so dominated. But if you have to pick up a guard he is one of the most obvious choices. Olympiacos needs him against Barcelona and he must bounce back.

Rudy Fernandez 69 credits (+0,3)
Lithuanians will not… welcome him due to the first game’s incidents in Madrid. But he’s in good shape and is too selfish to let Zalgiris’ players “answer” him in the court.

Bojan Bogdanovic 62,3 credits (+1,2)
There is none excuse for anyone not to have Bogdanovic in his team. He impresses every week and he is supposed to do it also against Maccabi.

Devin Smith 41,9 credits
He was excellent against Siena and Caja and is expected to have third good game in row. Fenerbahce has the worst defence in the Top 16 and for sure Smith has a lot of chances to get benefit from it.

Power Forwards/Centers

Shawn James 74,5 credits (-0,2)
He is really the center of his team. Maccabi’s big man should have a party in Istanbul against the worst rebounding team in the Euroleague, aka Fener.

Ante Tomic 70 credits (+0,5)
He was named February MVP by having 20,75 ranking in the last four games. In Palau Blaugrana he had 22 ranking against Olympiacos and he can make it again.

Paul Davis 65,3 credits
He’s 2nd in ranking (20,8 pg), 3rd in rebounds (6,3 pg), 4th in scoring (15,8 pg) and 4th in blocks (1,4 pg) in the Top 16. Do you want any other reason for picking him?

Maciej Lampe 55,2 credits
Caja is in bad form, but Lampe is the only one who is so steady. Besiktas hasn’t strong front line and probably he will make it.
