Barcelona is by far the best Euroleague team in low post and pick’n roll offense this season and proved it once more in SEF against Olympiacos. The Catalans had a 72% accuracy in two pointers (28/39), the best performance in this season’s Top16 and the 18th in Top16’s history.
This is not exactly news, since the players of coach Pascual have the best record in two point accuracy this season, if you include also regular season’s games. In the 7th gameday against Lietuvos Rytas in “Palau Blaugrana”, Barcelona shot 27/33 two pointers that translates to 81,8% accuracy.
Olympiacos has the record in Top16’s history. Back in the 2008-09 season against Prokom in Poland the Reds shot with 81% accuracy (30/37 two pointers) the fifth best performance in every Euroleague game ever played. Panathinaikos is on the top of the list for his home win against Oldenburg in the 2009-10 with the incredible 87,5% accuracy (28/32 two pointers).
