Eurohoops fantasy update for 21st week

Βy Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Last week was possibly the best for most of the fantasy players as soon as a lot of players had 20+ ranking. Eurohoopsnet team had 180,6 points and missed the chance to have a really great score because of Mirotic’ change.

Barcelona is the only team which secured its place in the playoffs and probably in the first spot of its group. So, the players from the other top class teams like CSKA, Real, Olympiacos, Efes, Panathinaikos, Siena are more attractive because they have bigger motivation. This week we will bet again to our favorite CSKA’s duo in the front line. Viktor Khryapa is back and Nenad Krstic is expected to have great games in row next to him because Messina will move him to “5” and keep Kaun to the bench.

We need 150,8 credits to pick both of them, so we must sell some expensive players. Bogdanovic is the first to go due to his injury. Νext to him Tomic and James will leave. The Croatian center has an easy game against Besiktas but it’s questionable if he will play a lot of minutes and be effective. Also, James didn’t play in the last domestic game for Maccabi due to knee injury and Khimki’s big guys are too good…

We can spend 207,5 credits but 150,8 of them are going to Krstic and Khryapa. So, the forward should cost less than 56,7 credits. Weems isn’t steady, Navarro is doubtful and not in good shape and Popovic will play a lot after Darden’s departure, but in Moscow the situation is always tough. So, Mickeal is the best available choice. Apart from all that, in point guard position Farmar and McCalebb are still excellent picks.

Enjoy fantasy!

Point Guards

Milos Teodosic 63,9 credits (+1,3)
He has the second best average ranking in the Top 16 (18,2) between guards after Brown. He deserves his credits and he’ll continue to play in that level against Zalgiris.

Dimitris Diamantidis 58,3 credits (-0,3)
Panathinaikos needs urgently to prevail over Alba and even with Ukic being too hot recently, the captain should do well again.

Shooting Guards/Small Forwards

Vassilis Spanoulis 71,7 credits (+0,9)
Olympiacos plays a crucial game in Toscane and “Kill-Bill” is more valuable to the Reds and your team than ever…

Rudy Fernandez 68,6 credits (-0,4)
He had an average game in Kaunas but he is in good shape. Real will be competitive until the end hunting the first two spots in the standings and Rudy at home against Unicaja and Panathinaikos is a solid pick.

Pete Mickeal 55,2 credits
Navarro is questionable again and in that case Mickeal is a safe choice. The veteran forward plays well recently and he is the best pick in that price range.

Devin Smith 44,2 credits (+2,3)
He will renew his contract; he has 22 ranking pg during the last three games and he is ready for more. He is cheap and can have good numbers also against Khimki.

Power Forwards/Centers

Nenad Krstic 75,8 credits
Since the moment Khryapa returns, the Serbian will move again to the center position and will have the opportunity to shine by continuing his excellent streak of games.

Viktor Khryapa 75 credits
He came back after almost a month and had against Lokomotiv 9 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in a typical full-stat game for him. Are there any doubts?

Paul Davis 67,2 credits (+1,9)
He‘ll face a team with only one solid big guy. He’s by far the best center in the Top 16 (21 rpg), so there is no question about him.

Maciej Lampe 55,2 credits (-1,3)
Fenerbahce’s big guys have limited defensive efficiency and collect less rebounds than any other team in the Top 16. Caja Laboral must win and the Polish center should have a good game.
